Good things happen to those who hustle.

A “side hustle” is defined as a way to make some extra cash that allows you flexibility to pursue what you’re most interested in. It can also be your true passion – a chance to delve into fashion, travel or whatever it is you care about the most without quitting your day job. It also happens to be the thing that keeps me the busiest.

My life:

  • Working full-time
  • Picking up extra shifts at work
  • Working towards my Master’s Degree
  • Planning my wedding (June 2019!)
  • Promoting my book Buy Here
  • Running my organization “The Love Spreader”
  • Posting daily for different social media accounts
  • Babysitting

So, as you can see, my attention and time goes into a gazillion different things. I’m not going to lie – it’s not easy – but it’s totally worth it.

Promoting my book and posting for different social media accounts is my true side hustle. Why? Because I actually make money from them. I make a pretty decent amount from running other people’s accounts, and in a lot of ways, makes or breaks my bank account each month! My book is a nice bonus, but doesn’t provide enough to pay the bills.

I love working on social media for other people, because it allows me to be creative, and get more experience that I can in turn put back into “The Love Spreader.” I’ve learned how to use hashtags, and locations, and demographics, etc. to get optimal results, which is nice.

If it wasn’t for my side hustles, I wouldn’t have been able to afford publishing my book (which is NOT cheap to do!) because I have a lot of other expenses, especially since I’m getting married next year (wedding dresses are SO EXPENSIVE).
